Virtual Catechetical Speaker Series

The Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis is hosting a Virtual Catechetical Speaker Series for their Parish Catechetical Leaders. They have included a number of outstanding speakers on a variety of topics, and they’ve invited anyone in Minnesota and the Dakotas to take part!

Each month, October through May (except for December), there will be about 40 minutes of presentation on the topic and 20 minutes of Q&A using Zoom. You can find specific dates and times, speaker bios and topic descriptions here, but the basic information is below.

October | Dr. Petroc Willey | Jesus: The Christo-centricity of Catechesis
November | Ann Lankford | The Spiritual Life of the Catechetical Leader
January | Dr. Joseph White | Family: The Missing Piece in Catechesis
February | Ken Ogorek | Recruiting and Training Catechists for Mission
March | Mary Ann Wiesinger | Teaching for Conversion: The Ecclesial Method
