2023 Bishop’s Cup and Taste the Goodness Bulletin Announcements
30TH Annual Bishop’s Cup
Join the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota, community leaders, golfing enthusiasts, and supporters of Broom Tree Retreat and Conference Center for a beautiful day on the golf course.
We invite all levels of golfers to join us for an exclusive play on Sioux Falls’ premier country clubs, The Country Club of Sioux Falls and
Minnehaha Country Club.
We offer a morning round and an afternoon round of golf. Learn more about which one fits your team below.
Two formats of play will be offered:
1. Bishop’s Cup Challenge – Two-man best ball format. Played on
The Country Club of Sioux Falls course.
2. Bishop’s Cup Scramble – Four-person scramble. Played on both
The Country Club of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha Country Club courses.

9TH Annual Taste the Goodness
Taste the Goodness is held outdoors, under tents, in the parking lot of the Avera Technology Building in Downtown Sioux Falls.
Those attending will experience a fantastic evening of fun and fellowship while supporting The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House.
Enjoy unlimited tastings of food, craft beer, wine, bourbon, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, along with music, games, activities, and a wonderful silent auction.

29TH Annual Bishop’s Hunt
2023 Bishop’s Hunt and Notre Dame Football Experience Bulletin Announcement
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the 29th Annual Bishop’s Charity Hunt, held on September 18 and 19, 2023 at the Horseshoe “K” Ranch near Kimball, SD. This highly anticipated event is a fundraiser for Newman Catholic Campus Ministries in Eastern South Dakota, and all proceeds go towards supporting our important mission.
Last year’s event was a huge success, with registration selling out early! We encourage you to register early to secure your spot and ensure that you don’t miss out on the fun. As always, the Bishop’s Charity Hunt promises to be an event filled with great food, camaraderie, and, of course, some of the best pheasant hunting in the region.
In addition to the hunting, we have a number of exciting activities planned, including a silent auction and card raffle, trap shooting, and more. Whether you’re an experienced hunter or a first-timer, the Bishop’s Charity Hunt is an event that you won’t want to miss.

2023 Bishop’s Hunt and Notre Dame Football Experience Bulletin Announcement
Have you always dreamed of attending a Notre Dame Football game in person? Here is your chance to win a trip of a lifetime. An amazing raffle package is now available. The package includes:
- Stanford versus Notre Dame Game – Saturday, October 15, 2022
- A private jet to and from South Bend, IN from Sioux Falls, SD
- A private tour of the campus of Notre Dame, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and the Grotto
- Tailgating on campus

- Meals and travel expenses included
