Friends Don’t Let Friends Use Windows 7

If you’re still running Windows 7, it’s past time to upgrade to a newer version of Windows.

Windows 7 is no longer supported as of January 14, 2020, which means you are no longer receiving updates, the most important of which are security updates.
This means as more security holes are found in Windows 7, they won’t be patched, resulting in your computer becoming a greater and greater security risk as time goes on.
If you’re unsure what version you’re running, the easiest way to find out is to run the “winver” command (Short for Windows Version).
To do this, open a run box by pressing the Windows key on the keyboard and the R key together. In the text field of the run box erase anything that’s in there, and type winver, and press enter.
A window will pop up that has the version of Windows you’re running. If this box says XP, Vista, 7, or 8 (not 8.1 but 8), then you need to upgrade to a newer version of Windows.
If you’re running an older version, please give us a call and we can talk about what the best option for upgrading will be.
