A God Who Knocks – The Lourdes Center will be presenting a four-week series exploring the impact of emotional wounds and opening the door to God’s healing love. This series will be on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. beginning November 1 at The Lourdes Center, 523 N. Duluth Ave., Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Cost for the series is $50. Holiday Grief Program – The Lourdes Center is honored to host “He is Stable” A Night for Grieving Hearts to Find Rest in His Peace on December 6 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. The evening will include presentations from individuals who have experienced grief along with a beautiful candle lighting ceremony. Christmas cookies and hot chocolate to follow! Camp Sydney – The Lourdes Center will be offering a Grief Camp for youth and their families at Broom Tree Retreat Center, beginning at 6 p.m. June 9, 2023, until 11 a.m. June 11, 2023. This two-day camp will include fun activities, discussion and support. The Grief Camp is offered free of charge. Registration will begin January 15, 2023. Watch out for new Zelle text scam!

Bank of America recently sent a customer service email warning users to watch out for this new phishing attack.

Threat actors are sending realistic texts requesting that you send money using Zelle® as payment due to a “fraud alert.” These texts make the warning look01 legitimate, and if you respond to the text then you’ll receive a call from a fake representative.

This person will use social engineering techniques and will trick your users into asking for you to send money to yourself through the Zelle® payment method. In reality you’ll be sending the money directly to these scammers’ pockets, and they will be able to receive your money into their account.
