Welcome to the Diocesan Site
As members of the Church are called upon to ensure the safety of children and vulnerable adults in our parishes, schools, families, and local communities. In an effort to respond to this responsibility, the Diocese of Sioux Falls requires all adults and minors who are active in a diocesan organization to complete a safe environment program that teaches how to recognize and report abuse, and how to maintain proper boundaries.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month
Join us is conversation and through prayer during the month of April. Our efforts to provide safe environments and prevent abuse in our parishes, schools and Catholic ministries is a priority we are committed to as a Diocesan community. Take time this April to talk about strategies with your children to prevent abuse, and pray for all who are healing from abuse.
