Read Bishop Donald E. DeGrood’s Promulgation of the Policy Compendium for the Diocese of Sioux Falls. *Promulgation to be linked soon.

The policies and procedures contained in this online, safe environment policy compendium are considered particular law for the Diocese of Sioux Falls. The contents of the policy compendium are binding, according to their subject matter and as applicable, for the following: clergy, members of institutes of consecrated life and societies of apostolic life, and laity, as well as all parishes, Catholic schools, and institutions identified as Catholic by the diocese.

All prior Diocesan policies, and procedures that conflict with the contents of the policy compendium are abrogated and any customs that conflict with the policy compendium are suppressed. All universal laws of the Church and local policies or procedures retain their due force unless legitimately superseded by particular law enacted for the Diocese of Sioux Falls.
