Sterling Hillmer

My name is Sterling Hillmer. I am 20 years old and am from Canton, SD. I completed a year of seminary in 2019-20, but discerned out after my first year. I will be attending SDSU this coming fall for the 2021-22 school year with a major in natural resources law enforcement.

I became a Lumen Christi missionary because I wanted to grow in my trust for the Lord. I have always struggled with anxiety and it takes me away from trusting the Lord. This summer was a great gift because I was able to make great bounds in trusting the Lord, so much so that I was able to follow His call into a new vocation.
