My story

I have been blessed with a beautiful Catholic family who formed me as I was growing up to be open to God working in my life. Throughout my high school years, they continued to model for me what it means to live life for Christ as I began to search for my identity and purpose. Through following their example of frequent prayer and study of scripture, I began to know God and to desire to share Him with others. I am continuing to grow with Him and walk with others who desire to do the same this year.

Where I Serve?

I will be serving as a Lumen Christi Missionary for the Diocese of Sioux Falls in St. Mary’s Catholic School, as well as the Dell Rapids area. I have a great love for the Dell Rapids area that was sparked when I spent a week there as a missionary this summer, and I am so excited to continue to grow in relationship with the people of this area through Lumen Christi. Our mission in Dell Rapids this year will consist of outreach in the parishes of Dell Rapids, Huntimer and Garretson, discipleship and bible studies with the youth of these parishes, and an overall dedication to the spiritual needs of the Diocese of Sioux Falls.
