Sammi Murtha Lumen Christi Missionary My story Growing up in a Catholic family, I was given a firm foundation in my Catholic faith. This allowed me to know that God was there, but I struggled to understand what that meant for my life. Throughout my high school years, I encountered individuals who shared about how the Lord desired a personal relationship with me. Through a simple yes, I began to open myself up to this relationship by growing in a daily prayer life. I soon learned that I became more myself when I was letting every moment of my day be given to the Lord.
