What is wisdom? This past weekend in his homily, Bishop DeGrood explained how the supernatural gift of wisdom enables us to know things as God does. This allows us to be wise in the ways of seeing reality. Wisdom helps us relate to others, properly order our lives, and allows us to receive the supernatural virtues. Bishop also explained how wisdom inspires us to live out the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
