If you’re a registered member of a parish in the Diocese of Sioux Falls and have given your email address to your parish, then last week you should’ve received an email from Bishop DeGrood inviting us all to fast and pray for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you didn’t receive that email, it contained a video message from Bishop DeGrood which you can find below, as well as links to a prayer for the pandemic from Archbishop Jose Gomez of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and to a litany of saints in time of need. Personally, I’m trying to pray these prayers daily and fast on Fridays. However you feel called, I invite you to respond to Bishop’s call and “storm heaven” for an end to this pandemic and for those impacted by it.
