The Homeless Jesus sculpture sits outside St. Francis House, Sioux Falls, where it was recently placed and unveiled.
The sculpture was placed to remind those who see it of the reality of homelessness.
The sculpture depicts Jesus as homeless and calls attention to the Lord’s direction to care for the least of my brothers.
A benefactor of St. Francis House made the sculpture possible.
It is a fiberglass cast weighing more than a quarter-ton.
