On Oct. 15, the Perpetual Adoration Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament will be holding a fiesta fundraising event from 1-4 p.m. at the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in Sioux Falls. The event will feature food, games, prayer and much more. Everyone is welcome to come and support the sisters whose lives of prayer and sacrifice are an invaluable presence in our diocese.
The Mater Ecclesiae Monastery is located next to the Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Sioux Falls. The sisters have been in the diocese since 2002 and in 2018 they moved out of the Cathedral rectory and into the newly constructed monastery. The sisters lead a contemplative way of life with ongoing adoration of the Blessed Sacrament occurring around the clock.
