Christmas at the Cathedral will be performed six times this year. The performances will be Thursday through Sunday, December 13-16, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Sioux Falls. This year’s performances mark the 22nd Christmas at the Cathedral event.

This year’s theme is “Unto Us” and was inspired by the writings of the prophet Isaiah and offers an opportunity to experience God’s immense love for each of us through His incarnation.

Isaiah’s ancient perspective and our modern experience is reflected in the inspiring musical compositions and arrangements of music director and conductor, Dan Goeller, again according to the CCFESD.

Mike Eldred, who performed on Broadway in Les Miserables as “Jean Valjean” is being welcomed back. Also performing will be Nashville studio recording artist, Shelley Jennings along with actor, Joe Obermueller, as Isaiah and the Christmas at the Cathedral Orchestra and Choir.

Tickets are available online at www.ccfesd.org or by calling 1-888-246-3386 or 1-605-988-3765. The Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota produces and coordinates the event and performances.
