Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish living a resurrection story with help of others

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Sioux Falls, continues its own resurrection story as progress is being made on restoring the church after a December 19 fire.

St. Lambert Parish, Sioux Falls, recently added to the recovery fund when Father Shaun Haggerty, pastor, presented a $7,500 check to Father Kristopher Cowles, pastor, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, for the recovery effort.

Liturgies have been held next door in the parish’s gymnasium while the restoration is performed.

The cleaning and restoration work will continue until the congregation can return to the church worship space.

Since the fire, Father Cowles has repeatedly offered thanks to those who have supported the parish’s comeback and rebuilding effort through prayer and donations.

Help is still being sought and accepted by calling the parish at 605-338-8126 or via email at olgparish@sfcatholic.org.
