A Legacy of Faith
A liturgical celebration at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph honoring the date of the decree from Pope Leo XIII declaring the beginning of our diocese.
During this Mass, Bishop Paul Swain blessed seven Deanery crosses. Following the Mass, one cross was taken to each of the deaneries to be displayed throughout the upcoming year. These crosses were then brought back together again in August of 2015 for display at the diocesan-wide LEGACY celebration. After the Mass, John Crane unveiled his new painting of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. (Photos Below)
