During this week’s episode Dr. B talks through the first reading. A few curveballs were thrown this week. First off this Sunday is the Sixth Sunday of Easter but next Sunday isn’t the Seventh. Second, the reading is from the Acts of the Apostles but we aren’t talking about Philip the Apostle. Lastly, Philip “went down” to Samaria but Samaria isn’t south of Jerusalem, where he journeyed from. Sounds to me context is key.
