2024 JPII Vocations Camp
This is our 8th Annual Vocations Camp for men 12-16 years old! Men going into 7th grade or just leaving their sophomore year are welcome. Father Michael Kapperman, Tony Klein, and other priests, as well as several seminarians, will be leading the camp at Abbey of the Hills in Marvin, SD. This will be three days of fun!
CAMP DETAILS
St. John Paul II famously said, “Do not be afraid! Do not be satisfied with mediocrity.” This camp lives that out! All good things begin in prayer. There is daily Mass, adoration, a Eucharistic procession, confession, praying the rosary, and talks on the spiritual life and vocations. But in addition to a lot of praying, there is plenty of playing! There are various activities from tug-of-war, to games on the lake, to ultimate frisbee, and bonfires. God has called us all to greatness–do not be satisfied with anything less! This camp is a rare chance for 12-16-year-olds to begin considering their vocation by God by spending time with priests and seminarians in prayer, conversation, and activities.
Campers will form into small groups with a seminarian as their leader. Campers will be staying in the Abbey of the Hills lodging. They will be sleeping two campers to a room. Special Food can be provided for allergies.
