The Catholic Family Sharing Appeal, the Gift of Hope Concert endowment and Victims of Crimes Act Grant (VOCA) provide financial means for individuals, couples and family members to receive emotional support in crisis arising from the occurrence of violent crimes as well as other grants make free counseling possible for the following:

  • Pregnancy counseling
  • Post-Abortion healing/ Project Rachel
  • Victims of violent crime
  • Farmers, ranchers, small business owners and families suffering from disasters or economic challenges
  • Families who experience suicide
Behavioral Health Counseling

Our experienced counselors assist individuals and families. Assessments and psychological testing are available. We employ licensed, professional doctoral and masters level counselors. We maintain strict confidentiality and operate within a faith-based philosophy. Five convenient locations across eastern South Dakota.

Pregnancy Counseling and Pregnancy Help

Pregnancy counseling is available to birth parents and their families and provides the birth parents the ability to make the decision to parent or place their child. Catholic Family Services is also able to provide termination counseling in a private adoption.

The Mother Teresa Endowment provides financial assistance to individuals or couples in the Sioux Falls Diocese experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and who may be considering an abortion because of limited financial resources.

Project Rachel offers help with pregnancy loss, including the loss of a child by abortion. Catholic Family Services offers strictly confidential, free, post abortion counseling, for mothers, fathers, grandparents, or anyone who has been affected by an abortion.

Speakers Bureau

Catholic Family Services counselors provide workshops, training programs, in-services or presentations at parishes, schools, hospitals, businesses, organizations and service clubs. Counselors are able to speak on mental health issues and psychological disorders across the life span.
