The Abbey is once again hosting the annual priest retreat June 10-14, 2024. We are honored to have this yearly event at the Abbey and have attached the flyer for the event.
Fr. Brian Christensen, priest of the Rapid City Diocese, will serve as retreat director. Fr. Christensen is presented serving as the pastor of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rapid City and St. Michael’s in Hermosa. Costs for this retreat will be shared among the retreatants. The total for all meals, lodging, director’s stipend, and travel costs amount to $700. For assigned priests of the Sioux Falls diocese, the fee should be covered by your assignment location. If possible, please arrive at the Abbey with a check made out to “Abbey of the Hills”. For retired priests of the Sioux Falls Diocese, the cost will be paid by the Diocese.
Please make your lodging reservations directly with the Abbey to ensure a comfortable stay during the retreat. If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements to accommodate them.
