Lent is almost here! There are many beautiful themes in the upcoming readings that tie in well with this season of Eucharistic Revival. As you prepare for this profound chapter of the liturgical calendar, we are excited to provide the National Eucharistic Revival Preaching Series Guide, a resource to help you prepare kerygmatic, Eucharistic homilies for Lent.
The intention of this guide is not to replace personal discernment and prayer with “talking points,” and it should not be taken as a homily substitute. Instead, this resource will serve as a tool to help you focus your homiletic reflections and identify missionary and kerygmatic themes and connections between the readings—breaking open the Scriptures for the faithful as we prepare to celebrate the breaking of the bread.
