Attached please find correspondence from Bishop DeGrood indicating he has inscribed Blessed Michael McGivney on the diocesan calendar. His assigned feast day is August 13. Also attached is a memorandum from the chair of the USCCB’s committee on Divine Worship. This memo draws attention to the instructions for votive Masses, and also provides the appropriate Collect and Lectionary readings from the Common of Pastors.
