The Catholic Daughters of South Dakota recently held their 50th Biennial State Convention in Chamberlain.
The theme was “We are Called…to Serve.”
The new state officers were elected for a two year term.
The SD CDA Military project held a special fund raiser with donations made and a check presented to “Wishes for Heroes” to Kristin Hendrickson from the Sioux Falls VA hospital for $6347.
Colleen Leer, state military chairman is presenting the check.
These funds will go be spent to assist the veterans in hospice with a last wish.
