The 20th annual “Christmas at the Cathedral” concerts are just a couple of weeks away and tickets are selling well.

Proceeds will benefit the Cathedral of Saint Joseph and the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House ongoing care and maintenance endowments.

The six “Christmas at the Cathedral” concerts will be presented on Dec. 15-18.

The theme this year is “Re-Imagine Christmas.”

You might think that after almost 20 years the production would become routine but not so says producer Mark Conzemius, “We are going to do some things that we feel are building on the story of Christmas.”

This year, the concerts will feature soloists soprano Marni Raab and tenor Scott Piper.

Both of the soloists will be teamed with musical director and conductor Dan Goeller as they guide the audience on the journey to “Re-Imagine Christmas.

“We ended up selecting highlights of Christmas at the Cathedral over the past years,” said Conzemius. “But it’s going to be done in a unique way to any other year…It will be a different rundown, a different combination of music.”

There will be six performances, scheduled for Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16 in the evening at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, December 17 at 1 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 18 at 2 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available online at www.ccfesd.org or by calling 1-888-246-3386 or 1-605-988-3765.
