Pontifical Servers

Pontifical servers consist of a group of young men who serve at those Sacred Liturgies at which the Bishop presides.  The Bishop and Cathedral are important because they signify Christ and the Mother Church, the center of liturgical life of the Diocese.  Those who serve as Pontifical Servers participate in this life of the Diocese in a major role.

Serving the Sacred Liturgy is only one facet of being a Pontifical Server.  This apostolate provides a means for young men to grow in their faith and love of the church through the example of the priests and the presence of their fathers.
