As we come to the end of 2021 and move into 2022 I am sure we are all itching to get our year-end statements wrapped up and out.  The IRS does recommend a detailed contribution statement be sent and on the statement, you should have some sort of language that indicates that no goods or services were provided by the organization. ParishSOFT is pushing hard to sell its platform CN Giving. While it will have a direct connection into CN Family Suite, there are some missing features: namely managed givers. PLEASE contact me prior to committing to an online giving solution. I have researched MANY platforms (approximately 20 different products) and believe the diocese will settle on a platform within the week. Once we decide on the product, we will negotiate the rates and pass the savings onto the parishes.
