The Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls will ordain two seminarians to the priesthood and two seminarians to the transitional diaconate later this month.
The ordinations to the priesthood are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, June 11 in St. Joseph Cathedral, while the ordinations to the diaconate will take place the next day, Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m.
Reverend Mr. Thomas Fitzpatrick and Reverend Mr. Justin Wachs will be ordained on Friday by Bishop Robert J. Carlson.
Seminarians Dana Christensen and Robert Lacey will be ordained as transitional deacons on Saturday
Seminarians Fitzpatrick and Wachs just concluded their seminary studies at the North American College in Rome.
Dana Christensen just finished his third year of theology studies at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, St. Louis, MO.
Robert Lacey just concluded his third year of Theology studies at Mount Saint Mary Seminary, Emmitsburg, MD.
The ordinations are open to the public.
