| Early September: This year, the Respect
Life packets will be sent to parishes in late August. The theme
this year is “Made In His Image.” The packets contain
articles and guides for supporting a culture of life. Priests,
deacons, seminarians, pro-life representatives, DRE’s,
school principals, and other group leaders will receive these
informational packets.
Sunday, October 3: As part of Respect Life Month, on October
3, Bishop Robert J. Carlson will host a brunch for the parish
respect life representatives. Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
at St. Joseph Cathedral. Everyone is invited to attend this
celebration of life. A local pro-life group is organizing
the annual “Life Chain.” Thousands of pro-lifers
are expected to line 41st Street in Sioux Falls to celebrate
the gift of life. |
