Catholic Family Services offers Non-Denominational Grief Programs

These Grief Programs are professionally directed and conducted to facilitate the journey of grieving and the move towards readjustment.

Grieving the Loss of a Spouse

January 8 – February 12, 2019

A program for adults who have lost a spouse and are trying to cope with the pain of separation and loss. Role change and loneliness are secondary losses which can complicate the grieving process. Grieving the Loss of an Infant or Child

February 26 – April 2, 2019

A program for adults who have lost a child and are trying to understand and reconcile their grief. An educational program that will offer positive suggestions to help people survive and learn to live fully again. 2019 Loss of a child flyer

 

Grieving the Loss from Suicide

April 16 – May 21, 2019

A program for families who have lost a loved one from suicide. The suddenness of the death, the confusion and the painful reactions are significant topics of the program. This is a time when professional support is needed.  2019 Loss from Suicide

 

Grieving the Loss from Homicide

June 4 – July 16, 2019

A program for adults who have lost a loved one from the tragic and senseless crime of murder. This loss has a unique intensity that requires special and educational assistance toward adjustment. Grieving a loss from Homicide flyer

September 17 – October 22, 2019

A program for adults who have the loss of a parent or sibling. Parents and Siblings play significant roles in our lives and this loss requires a significant adjustment. Grieving a Loss During the Holidays

November 5- December 10, 2019
