Individuals, couples and families seeking counseling and the Gift of Hope in building
their lives should not let cost be the determining factor. Efforts will be made
to assist the clients with allocations from goverment funding sources, Catholic
Family Sharing Appeal fund, Catholic Charities and insurance according the the given
guidelines. A sliding fee scale is used to determine individual costs.
The Sliding Fee Scale is based on the family income and the number of people in
the household. Clients are asked to bring verification of income to the first session.
Grants have been awarded to Catholic Family Services to assist people in the following
areas by providing free or minimal cost counseling services according to stated
guidelines:
1. Victims of Crime
People suffering from child abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, adult
mosestation as a child, elder abuse, stalking, violent crimes, etc. may obtain financial
assistance for counseling.
2. Farmers, Ranchers, Victims of Downsizing & Small Town, SD
People who are affected by economic problems related to flooding, drought, tornadoes,
hail, grasshoppers and or from downsizing, plant closings, layoffs, low agricultural
prices, etc. may receive counseling at a cost of $9.00 per 45 minute session. |
