• Provide counseling to individuals, families and couples who are burdened with life experiences that cause pain, anxiety, grief, stress, hurt, loneliness, anger, conflice, etc.
• Assist teens and adults with unplanned pregnancies to assess what's best for them and their baby, and to explore parenting and adoption options, support systems, and available resources.
• Assist domestic and international adoptive families with home studies, education, preparation for adopting a child and post placement services.
• Worked with hospice and nursing home patients and their families to assess emotional, spiritual, financial needs and develop a plan of care for the patient. Provided individual and family counseling to cope with difficult situations.
• Served as a youth care specialist and a supervisor of emergency shelter for children and adolescents, providing a nurturing environment, teaching social and proem solving skills and anger managemnet to the resident youth.
