A one day silent retreat entitled “Introduction to Silent Prayer” is being offered at Broom Tree Retreat and Conference Center near Irene.
The retreat is scheduled for Saturday, December 15 and will be directe dby Father Joe Vogel.
One-Day Silent Retreats are designed to give you a taste of what a longer Silent Retreat might be like. The day begins at 9 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m. During this time you will receive an orientation to silent prayer, enter into Grand Silence and spend the day with the Lord there. Holy Mass will be offered as well as time for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Confession, the Rosary and time to quiet your soul and listen for the voice of God in the silence.
