October Day of Recollection will be held Tuesday, October 23.

“What are People Saying Today about Angels?”

Directed by
Monsignor Richard Mahowald

The Catechism of the Catholic Church has much to say about angels. “With their whole beings the angels are servants and messengers of God. Because they ‘always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven’ they are the ‘mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word.'”

“Christ is the center of the angelic world….The whole life of the Church benefits from the mysterious and powerful help of angels.  They are spiritual creatures who glorify God without ceasing and who serve his saving plans for other creatures: ‘The angels work together for the benefit of us all.'” (CCC 329,331,334,350)

Join us for a day of prayer where Monsignor Mahowald will explore the reality of angels and help us to understand their roll in our life.

Beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 3 p.m., the schedule for the day includes Mass, two Conferences, time for Confession, quiet time for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, great food and wonderful conversation. Please bring your Bible.
