Catholic Daughters hold national convention in Sioux Falls

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas held their National Convention in Sioux Falls in July.

The convention theme was “Serve the Lord with gladness.”

Over 1,300 members of the Catholic Daughters from North and South America and Kenya attended the biennial meeting.

The event coincided with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the South Dakota state court.

Registered members attended the celebration of Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, workshops and business sessions, and enjoyed visiting many South Dakota sights.
