April Day of Recollection planed for Broom Tree Retreat and Conference Center on Tuesday April 9.
What are People Saying about Miracles? is the topic.
The day of recollection will be directed by Monsignor Richard Mahowald.

This is a timely topic, given the fact that so many people today deny the possibility of miracles, others think that even if one acknowledges there were miracles in centuries past, they are irrelevant in the age of science.

What’s to be said of that?
Many atheists and materialists think that there are never any reasons to speculate beyond a universe of matter and energy.
How do we understand this objection?
The ministry of Jesus included preaching a call to conversion, teaching the plan and design of God for our salvation in stories we call parables, and he performed signs and wonders to back up his claims. Jesus also exercised a ministry of exorcisms.
What can we say about the miracle of the Resurrection of Jesus?

Join us for this day of prayer and exploration into the reality of miracles.

Beginning at 10 a.m. and running until 3 p.m., the schedule for the day includes Mass, talks, time for Confession, quiet time for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, great food and wonderful conversation. Please bring your Bible.
