Please know that you are not alone.  Perhaps your marriage is at a point where some outside assistance may be helpful in the healing process.  Here are three recommended resources here in our diocese:

Contact your parish priest for a confidential meeting to help address your marital problems.

Catholic Family Services is available for marriage counseling.

Retrouvaille, a confidential weekend that offers hope and help for a couple to heal and renew their marriage relationship, is available in Sioux Falls, the weekend of April 19-21, 2013.  Retrouvaille is a peer to peer ministry and has helped couples who experience chronic communication problems, as well as those who thought they were beyond hope, already separated, or even divorced. For more information, or to help register a couple, contact 988-3755.

A priest may choose to have a Marriage Sponsor Couple assist him in marriage preparation.  A married couple can be a great resource and blessing to the engaged couple, sharing with them experiences and wisdom from living their own vocation. If you are interested in being a MSC, contact your Pastor or our office.
